How to use our website Organic Gourmet

- Information and Purchase

Feel free to enter your product category of interest and read about our products that interest you. Also, if you would like to receive our news updates here at Organic Gourmet, just register and authorize your email to sign-up. No purchase necessary.

The purchase process is simple and secure. Simply choose a product, assign quantity and press the add key. If you want to add more products and or quantities to your order, please do so within the order, provided you have not completed the payment process.

If during or after you complete the payment process, there appears an error in the order or no purchase receipt appears, please contact us at Tel:+34 93 1 92 55 69/+34 669 45 4261 or by email (info@organicgourtmetbcn.com) to be informed on the status of your order. If the items has not been sent to the carrier, we will manually remove the wrong products and add the forgotten, and update the final payment. Otherwise, we will try to find the most satisfactory proposal for the client.

 You can purchase our products and give as a gift for other persons. And in this case, at the end of the purchase process, mark the field Gift and fill in the data regarding your recipient. Also, feel free to customize the text of the gift card, which we provide in the shipment.

 The Organic Gourmet Packs are designed to facilitate the purchase process in specific areas of your interest. We do not want our customers to feel overwhelmed by 100's of options, so we offer free navigation within the product categories and personalized shopping.

 

- Products and Producers

All of our products are certified and comply with Commission Regulation (EC) no. 834/2007 of the Council of the European Union on organic production and labeling of organic products.

Natural products are subject to limited production and or availability due to seasonal effects, and in the event you are trying to order a product which is out of stock, the Shopping Cart function will not be available (text appears grey). If you wish to be notified when the product is in stock, simply request it in the product details. If there happens to be errors within the order or stock insufficiency after the customer has placed an order, we will contact you to resolve it.

We work closely with our suppliers in order to gauge the best delivery date, stock availability and return-to-stock estimations, which in turn provides our customers with the best service. 

 

- Payment and Billing

All product prices are charged and billed in Euros (€) and valid taxes are included per order.

In order to provide you with an informed description of your order, once placed, a validation screen will appear detailing your products ordered, quantities, prices, transit cost and taxes charged.

You have the option to request the order invoice from this same validation screen ( customer account).

We accept both debit and credit cards as valid payment. Charges are made on behalf of the financial institution's POS (Banc Sabadell) whom processes the secure transaction, without any data ever being displayed or stored in our network servers. Our transactions are certified by VISA card systems (Verified by VISA) and MasterCard (MasterCard SecureCode) and secure virtual terminal.

For security reasons, in case of lost or stolen cards, the maximum purchase per card in the same order is limited to 400€. If you wish to make a purchase over this amount, please contact Organic Gourmet or use the transfer mode.

 

- Shipping and Delivery Preparation

All orders that enter the system before 14:00h Central European Time (CET) are prepared the same day and shipped as express. However, in the event an item is not in stock or there is another reason for shipping delays, we will contact the customer to discuss approximate delivery date.

All local (peninsular) shipments can be expected to be delivered by MRW, 24h after order is fully prepared for shipping. Orders received on Friday are exempt from this estimated shipping time, due to the weekend, and shipments are issued the following Monday, possibly arriving on the same Monday or the following Tuesday. Customers can track shipping and delivery progress via the carrier service website with a tracking number provided by Organic Gourmet.

Other delivery locations depend on distance and specific conditions of the carrier.

If at time of delivery, no recipients are able to receive the package, MRW (or other local carriers) will contact the customer directly to arrange a new delivery date.

It is also possible for customers living in and or around Barcelona city to come and pick up your order in stock, which allows you to save shipment costs. Our in-store pick-up hours are Thursday from 16:00 to 18:30 CET.

 

- Geographic Scope of Sales and Transport Costs

Our online orders are limited to the following geographic scope:

  • Spain (except Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla)
  • Other countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Gibraltar Territory, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg,  Norway, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Sweden and Switzerland.

 National Shipping Rates (Iberian peninsula Only) as of 2012:

-6€ for orders up to 60€ of purchase (tax included)

-8€ for orders from 60 € up to 120€ (tax included)

-Free delivery for orders € 120 or more (tax included)

National rates for Balearic Islands, and International rates as of 2012:

Current rates of MRW are already incorporated into order costs for automatic calculation of amount per order

Our product warehouse and our Organic Gourmet office are located at C/Pujades 74-80, Local 2º2º B, 08005 Barcelona, Spain. You may pick-up your order at our office location, on Thursdays from 16:00-18:30.
